Step Six – Tie down Options
6. Tie-downs are included with the curtain. The curtains will have a small area on the bottom cut-out to expose the galvanized weighted pipe. The webbing straps will wrap around the pipe and cinch tight with a buckle. Wrapping the tie-downs around the bottom pipe through footman loop and cinching tight with buckles pulls tension on the entire curtain allowing wind loads up to 70mph.
- Tip – You can use the footman loops provided with the curtain, wrap around a bottom railing or use ground anchors. Side tie-downs are available if you can not use the bottom tie-downs.
- If you are using the tie-downs and wrapping them around a bottom railing, curtain will need to stop at railing and not go all the way to the floor.

- The Stayput fasteners must have a 2″ overlap onto a post or wall to install the studs.
- The Hook/Bungee fasteners will come with grommets on the sides of the curtains.
- Double Hooks/Bungees can be used to keep the curtains close to wall/post.
- The Hook/Bungee fasteners come with 6″ ball bungee cords & stainless hooks.
- #10 YKK Marine Zippers can be used to zipper the curtains to each other.
- You can split a curtain into 2 or 3 sections and use zippers to create a zippered “door”. Door sections are normally 36″ Wide.
- Tip- You can use the hooks/bungees without installing the hooks.
- You may need to adjust the size of the bungee cords.
